Covid-19 UPDATE

8th September 2020

It was announced yesterday that Crete has been included in England's quarantine list, starting Wednesday 9 September 2020 at 04:00.  Also, today it was announced today that Crete has been added in Netherland's quarantine list (https://www.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/landen/griekenland/reizen/reisadvies/continenten/europa/country).  

For all reservations made directly through our website, that arrive from 8th of September 2020 and later on, there will be NO cancellation fees for cancelling your reservation. (any cancellation fees that might automatically appear when you try to cancel your reservation online, will not be charged). Any re-scheduling for season 2021, will be arranged free of charge.

 10th July 2020

Our opening date is confirmed for 17 July! We will welcome our first  guests on Friday. 

 

 

7th July 2020

We are announcing that our hotel is further postponing its opening date to 17th July 2020. All reservations with arrival date until 16 July 2020 can be cancelled or re-scheduled for later on within 2020 or 2021 season.  Closer to that date we will make a new announcement with update of our final opening date.

 

 

16th June 2020

Awaiting further developments in the air travel and the epidemiοlogic situation in the countries we mainly cooperate with, we are announcing that our hotel is further postponing its opening date to 14th July 2020. All reservations with arrival date until 13 July 2020 can be cancelled or re-scheduled for later on within 2020 or 2021 season.  Closer to that date we will make a new announcement with all updates and a probable opening date of our hotel.


21st May 2020

Yesterday the Greek prime-minister announced that Greece will be welcoming international flights from June 15, initially only at Athens International Airport. From July 1, all Greek airports will be open to flights from abroad.
This means direct flights to Greek holiday destination airports like Heraklion (HER), will be allowed from 1st July 2020.
Greece’s incoming tourists will not need to have a coronavirus test prior to travel nor will they be quarantined after arrival.
Flights will be allowed from specific countries with acceptable epidemic situation by then. Each country allowed to travel to Greece will be announced later on.
Right now, all reservations with arrival date until 30th June 2020 included, should be re-scheduled for later on (2020 or 2021 season), or cancelled. For all new updates with exact opening date of our hotel, will be announced later on.

29th April 2020

Yesterday the Greek prime-minister announced that the opening of Greek resort hotels is not yet defined and will be probably within the second half of June. The situation will be re-assessed later on in order to have a more definite date subject to the pandemic situation then. Right now, it is most certain that at least until 15th June 2020, no resort hotel will be open in Greece. All reservations should be re-scheduled for later on, or cancelled.
For all guests who have made their reservations directly through our website, a new flexible cancellation policy is effective now.
    All reservations with arrival dates until the end of July 2020, can be cancelled or re-booked for future dates, up to 1 day before arrival date, with no penalty.

21st April 2020

On 15th April, the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority has postponed all flights to Greece, until 15th May 2020. (http://www.ypa.gr/news/paratash-notams-ews-tis-15-maioy-2020   greek language)

This means that all reservations flights with arrival date until 15th May will be cancelled due time from the airlines. We expect a new decision concerning flights on 15th May 2020. We will inform you about the newest developments and decisions of the Greek Government, affecting your holidays.

The Greek government on 14th March 2020 has decided to postpone all Greek hotels opening date until 1st May 2020, as part of the efforts to contain the spread of Covid-19. We fully support the preventative measure, which is aimed at ensuring the health of our guests and staff.

Our caring thoughts are with everyone affected around the world and we do share great appreciation to all healthcare staff on the job right now. Along with the rest of the Greek tourism sector, we will do everything we can to allow a swift end to this unprecedented situation. We are vigilantly monitoring the Covid-19 situation, and we will keep you posted on all further developments, opening dates or any other vital information affecting your holidays.

Meanwhile, we try to stay positive and prepare for your future accommodation. We will advance our hygiene processes and comply with all updated measures and guidelines from our authorities.

All reservations with arrival dates within May and June 2020, can be cancelled or re-booked for future dates, up to 1 day before arrival date, with no penalty.
All reservations with arrival dates within July until October 2020, can be cancelled or re-booked for future dates, up to 7 days before arrival date, with no penalty.
There will be no credit-card pre-authorizations prior to each period.

For all other guests, please contact your holiday supplier for rescheduling or cancelling your holiday in case you have booked through a tour operator or agency.
